Impressive Attractions offered by Hong Kong – Pearl of the Orient

Hong Kong constitutes 263 islands which are divided into 3 major regions – Hong Kong Island, Kowloon Region, and New Territories. Since the islands and peninsulas are located at the mouth of the Pearl River Delta, it’s been known by the nickname Pearl of the Orient. A gem of a destination for tourists too, since it has to offer many interesting attractions for all age groups!

Ngong Ping 360, Lantau Island

Located on Lantau Island, Nong Ping offers a spectacular cable car experience. To begin with, tourists board the cable car from Tung Chung Cable Car Station in Lantau and enjoy the bird’s eye view of the Hong Kong International Airport, the Big Buddha of Tian Tan, the beautiful Lantau Island, and the Ngong Ping Plateau. Once they arrive at the Nong Ping, they will get to see the marketplace. Overall a worthy day trip from the main island of Hong Kong.
